Andy is a passionate community crusader, driven by a deep care for his fellow humans. His commitment to service, which began in his youth, has shaped his unique journey. As the founder of the Warrior Surf Foundation, a community-based mental health program, he has positively impacted the lives of thousands of U.S. war veterans. A spiritual vagabond and yoga & breathwork guide, Andy has taught thousands to surf and has led over 20 domestic and international therapy retreats. He is an avid reader, writer, traveler, runner, and hugger who delights in cooking delicious food. A dedicated fundraiser and philanthropist, Andy has shared his insights through public speaking. His efforts have earned him recognition as a Top Ten Hero by CNN and the prestigious Jefferson Award
